Brushed Micro Motors

$20.00$26.00

A selection of Chaoli micro, core-less motors sourced from the Micro motor Warehouse are now available directly from Picnic Quads.

Chaoli motors offered feature bare shafts for direct drive use and include Micro-JST-1.25 plugs installed for wiring connections.

Micro motors are sold in sets of 4 and include 2 clockwise and 2 counter clockwise motors.

Note: For best performance and motor life, it’s important to let motors cool off completely between flights.

Description

Motor Rotation (viewed form the shaft end) is indicated by wire color:
Red/Blue= Clockwise
Black/White = Counter clockwise

CL-0615-14 motor info: Warning: These motor will turn a stock nQX into a pocket rocket, and it will not like hovering! Depending on the battery you use, you will see varying degrees of oscillations (wobble) during hover and slow flight in SAFE mode. Please note: wire color coding is reversed from the stock motors.

CL-0820-15 motor info: These motors are a favorite of many and are considered the “Fast” speed for 8.5mm motors.  These offer excellent thrust with Hubsan X4 propellers and other similar sized propellers, however slightly larger propellers may also be considered.

  • weight: 4.9g
  • speed: 15.000Kv
  • operating voltage: 1.5-3.7V
  • max. thrust: approximately 40g (Hubsan X4 propeller)
  • 2.75A max. load current at 3.7V  (Hubsan X4 propeller)
  • can diameter: 8.5mm
  • can length: 20mm
  • shaft diameter: 1mm
  • shaft length: 5mm

0820-17 (Dark Edition) motor info: Considered insane speed and with a black anodized finish, applicable 8.5mm motors don’t get any faster than this.  These motors provide a lot of thrust with Hubsan sized propellers however using larger propellers is not recommended.

  • weight: 4.9g
  • speed: 17.000Kv
  • operating voltage: 1.5-3.7V
